Mercury: Mercury is known to cause damage on brain function, particularly on young people. Certain substances containing mercury are mixed in with eye drops or mascara. Look out for ingredients like Thimerosal and mercury compounds like Mercuric Benzoate, Phenyl Mercuric Acetate, Mercuric Oxide.
Placenta: It is said that placenta provides an unhealthy dose of hormones to the body.
Nanoparticles- There are certain ingredients that can make their way into the optic nerve, brain and into the blood. Most products contain Nano Zinc Oxide and they can be harmful to the body as well. Other ingredients that could be nanoparticles include micronized zinc oxide, boron, nitride and micronized titanium dioxide. These ingredients are commonly found in foundation, concealers and skin creams.
